Upcoming action drama Vigilante has confirmed the main cast.
On April 7, Disney+ announced that Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Jun Hyuk, and Kim Soo Jin have all been confirmed to star in the upcoming K-drama Vigilante.
They also confirmed that the upcoming new series will be released in the second half of 2023.
Vigilante will tell the story of a police college student by morning and a dark hero named Vigilante by night.
The story will be based on the popular webtoon of the same name written by CRG and illustrated by Kim Gyu-sam.
The popular webtoon can be watched through Naver and since its release it has already generated more than 400 million.
Vigilante will have eight episodes and will be directed by director Choi Jeong-yeol
(Start-Up, One Way Trip, and Man).
Nam Joo Hyuk will portray the character named Kim Ji Young. He is an outstanding police cadet with excellent martial arts skills during the day. At night, he turns into a "guardian", a dark hero who fights off criminals.
Yoo Ji Tae will play Joo Hyun, the person who is chasing Vigilante. He is the head of the investigation team. His mission is to arrest the guard.
Lee Joon Hyuk will give life to the character named Cho Kang Ok. He has great respect for the guard and plays the role of his assistant.
Finally, Kim Soo Jin will play the role of Choi Mi Ryu. She is a broadcaster and will be the one to tell the world about Vigilante.
