Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik will appear together on one screen again!
After six years, Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik meet in the upcoming series Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. According to industry insiders, the two will make a special appearance in the new work of "Strong Woman" writer Do Bong Soon.
JTBC then confirmed on March 30 that Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik would appear in the upcoming K-drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon. The network also shared that filming for the scene has already been completed.
Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik were the main leads in the popular 2017 Korean drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. The K-drama was so beloved because she was the first female lead in a K-drama. For this reason, the upcoming series Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will expand this worldview and show the story of another woman with superpowers.
In 2023, Park Bo Young will finally return to K-Drama. Where She was last seen in the 2021 series Doom at Your Service.
The senior actress is set to lead the upcoming Netflix original K-drama Daily Dose of Sunshine with Yeo Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yeon, Lee Jong Eun, Lee Sang Hee, and Yoo In Soo.
Meanwhile, Park Hyung Sik is currently starring in the TVN drama K-Our Blooming Youth. He will also star in the upcoming Korean drama Doctor Slump and will reunite with Park Shin Hye.
The upcoming K-drama Strong Woman Kang Nam Soon will tell the story of three generations of a mother and a daughter born with supernatural powers. They will work together to uncover drug crimes centered in Gangnam.
This will be the next work from writer Baek Mi-kyung (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon) and director Kim Jong-shik (Work Later, Drink Now).
Strong Woman Kang Nam-sun will be led by Lee Yu-mi, Ong Seung-woo, Byun Woo-suk, Kim Jong-un, Kim Hye-suk, and Park Young-tak.
The upcoming Korean drama will premiere in the first half of the year. It will be broadcast exclusively on JTBC.
