Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun are in discussion for the lead role in K-Chosun's upcoming TV drama Happy End (working title).
On April 7, media channel Star News reported that Angang Nara and Son Ho Joon will be reuniting for a new drama that will be directed by Jo Soo Won, the same director of Today's Webtoon, Doctor John, and Pinocchio.
Happy End revolves around a woman who had a difficult childhood and now wants to escape her obsession and ambition after being drunk on success.
Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun first worked together in the 2017 KBS drama Go Back Couple. If the two decide to work together again, they will reunite after six years.
In 2017, the two won the Best Couple award and the drama also received high ratings. Many also praised the chemistry of the two as they portray the role of a married couple.
Happy End will be released in the second half of 2023.
Jang Nara will reportedly play the role of Seo Jae Won. She is a representative of a home furnishing brand. Son Ho Joon will play the role of a man who will do anything for his endless desires.
Before Jang Nara works with Son Ho Joon, she will first meet Jang Hyuk through the upcoming Korean drama Family: The Unbreakable Bond.
After getting married, it seems that Jang Nara has decided to work again with her former co-stars.
Meanwhile, Son Ho Jun will return to Season 2 of The First Responders. Where he will work again with Kim Rae Won, Jung Seung Yeon, Kang Ji Dong, Seo Hyun Chul, and Ji Woo.
