Who this policy covers

This policy explains how information is handled when you use Asia2TV as a visitor, member or person contacting support. It covers the features you choose to use, including accounts, viewing, subscriptions, comments and messages. Not every visit involves every information category described here.

Asia2TV is the service name to use when contacting us about this policy. Active contact channels are listed on the Contact page and can be used for privacy requests. Payment services, sign-in providers and external players have their own policies when you interact with them.

Information and its sources

Information comes from the forms, settings and messages you provide, and from usage and security events generated as the service operates. We may also receive transaction confirmations from a payment provider or limited identity information from a sign-in provider you choose.

Do not send sensitive information unrelated to your request. The table below gives examples connected to platform features. What is actually recorded depends on the features you use and fields you complete.

Account & sign-in
Username, email, profile details you add and a provider identifier if you use social sign-in. Used to create your account, verify access and manage preferences.
Devices & security
Sessions, devices, sign-in times, network address and browser information. Used to protect accounts, manage access and investigate unusual activity.
Viewing & participation
Viewing progress, lists, follows, ratings, comments and usage events. Used to resume playback, show your choices, run community features and check service entitlements.
Membership & transactions
Plan, status, amount, currency, transaction reference and payer details supplied by the provider or included in your request. Used for activation, reconciliation, billing and refunds.
Support & correspondence
Messages, attachments, request topic and team replies. Used to understand and investigate issues and follow up on a resolution.
Technical data & preferences
Cookies, local storage, language, appearance, error logs and usage records. Used for session continuity, saved choices, diagnostics and page performance.

Why information is used

Purposes include delivering the service you request, managing memberships and payments, remembering viewing progress, displaying community activity, responding to support, protecting accounts, preventing misuse and diagnosing faults and performance issues.

Where law requires a processing basis, this depends on the circumstances: performing the requested service, complying with legal obligations, legitimate security and operational interests balanced against your rights, or consent where required. Newsletter subscription and browser-notification permission are separate choices from necessary account and transaction messages.

Payment and subscription privacy

When you pay through PayPal, the provider’s interface processes payment-method information under its policy. The platform handles transaction data needed to confirm payment and associate it with your account, such as reference, amount, currency, status and available payer details. Provider payment fields are not a request to send card details to support.

Account-linked viewing and download records may be used to assess refund eligibility. If you send a receipt for reconciliation, hide information not needed to identify the transaction. Review memberships and payments in your account, and consult the provider’s policy for its separate processing.

Cookies and browser storage

The platform uses cookies for sessions, sign-in and request protection, and local or session storage for some preferences and interface state. Blocking or clearing these can sign you out or reset language, appearance and other choices.

Manage site data and notification permissions in your browser settings. Turning off browser notifications does not erase notifications in your account. Payment providers, players or other external components may use their own storage under their policies and settings. This description does not mean every technology runs on every page.

What other people can see

Content you post in public areas, such as comments, discussions and ratings, may be visible to visitors or members according to that area’s settings, alongside your display name and associated profile information. Do not use public areas for private account, payment or complaint details.

Support messages are intended for handling your request by authorized team members, but are not a place to send passwords or sign-in codes. Before sharing a screenshot, check for visible email addresses, phone numbers or other people’s information.

Service providers and external links

Hosting, storage, content-delivery, email and payment providers may need information to perform their roles. Disclosure to competent authorities may also be required by law or necessary to protect rights and investigate documented misuse under applicable rules.

When you select an external sign-in provider, the site receives an account identifier and basic profile information supplied by that provider, including email where available. We do not ask for your password for that provider. Review the other party’s policy before sharing information through an external link or WhatsApp.

Retention and deletion

Retention needs vary by data category and purpose: operating an account, maintaining membership, transaction-record obligations, requests and disputes, and security. There is no single period for every category, and backup deletion cycles can differ from those for active data.

You may ask for the retention period for a category relating to you or request deletion. Requests are reviewed against applicable obligations. Specific records may need to be retained for a legal reason or an ongoing dispute, which should be explained in the response. Removing an item from visible viewing history does not necessarily remove a related financial or security record.

Information security and processing location

The service uses access controls, session controls and measures to protect accounts and requests. No internet service can guarantee prevention of every incident. A strong password, session reviews and keeping verification codes private help reduce risk.

Hosting or external services may operate in more than one country depending on the provider. Do not assume all information is stored in your country of residence. You can request information about processing and relevant providers, and applicable cross-border transfer requirements must be observed.

Choices in your account

Review account details and devices, remove sessions you no longer use, and adjust notification and follow preferences. Manage lists and viewing history in their dedicated sections. Some actions require sign-in or verification to protect your account.

If you want to close an account or stop using the service, check automatic renewal first. Deleting browser data or the app does not stop subscription payments. For information outside account controls, select “Privacy & my data” on the Contact page.

Your rights and privacy requests

Depending on applicable law and the request, rights may include information about processing, access and a copy, correction or deletion, objection to or restriction of certain processing, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

State the right you want to exercise, the relevant information category and your account email. Proportionate identity verification may be needed before disclosure or deletion; do not attach an identity document at the outset. Requests are handled under applicable time limits and requirements, with any restriction or reason for non-fulfilment explained. You can request a review or complain to a competent data-protection authority where applicable.

Children and inappropriate submissions

Do not post a child’s information or documents in public comments or conversations. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child supplied information contrary to legal requirements or service terms, contact us for review, verification of your role and appropriate action.

When reporting unauthorized access or a suspected exposure, describe the event, URL and approximate time without copying or publishing other people’s information.
