The newly released rom-com Merry Berry Love ranks in the Disney+ Top 10.
Set on a remote Japanese island with its beautiful scenery, the drama follows Korean spatial planner Lee Yoo Bin (Ji Chang Wook) and Japanese female farmer Shirahama Karin (Imada Mio).
After losing everything due to a business partner's betrayal, Yoo Bin meets Karin, who lives life on her own terms.
Episode 1 depicts the first meeting between Lee Yoo Bin (Ji Chang Wook), a Korean spatial planner, and Shirahama Karin (Imada Mio), a Japanese farmer. After his business partner betrays him and he loses everything overnight, Yoo Bin heads to Japan's Charo Island in pursuit of one last opportunity. There, Yoo argues with Karin over a boarding ticket, and a misunderstanding sets their relationship off to a rocky start.
Global viewers have been quick to respond. According to FlixPatrol, Merry Berry Love entered the global TOP 10 on Disney+ just one day after its release. The series also reached the TOP 10 in South Korea, Japan, Finland, Iceland, and Estonia, among others.

Ji Chang Wook's performance as the drama's central character has also drawn praise. His seamless transitions between comedy and melodrama add to the series' appeal, making his return as a "rom-com master" all the more evident.
Merry Berry Love is released every Wednesday on Disney+. It also airs every Wednesday on Japanese terrestrial broadcaster Nippon TV.
