Actress Park Shin Hye will return in the second season of "Judge From Hell."
At the SBS Drama Media Day event, held on the morning of June 1 in Seoul, Studio S CEO Hong Sung Chang revealed, “Actress Park Shin Hye, who is currently pregnant, will return next year with the second season of ‘The Judge from Hell.’”
During the event, SBS presented the list of its upcoming drama series for the second half of this year and the first half of 2027, as well as teasers.
The network's programming slate for the second half of 2026 includes Agent Kim Reactivated, Flex X Cop Season 2, Doctor X, Good Partner Season 2, and Nine to Six.
During the first half of next year, SBS will air Awakening, The Long Shot Trial, Akmong, and Full Count.
Although the SBS drama lineup was previously announced, CEO Hong Sung Chang used the event to reveal two additional series from next year's lineup that have not yet been revealed to the public: Season 2 of The Judge from Hell, starring Park Shin Hye, and Dash, starring actress Shin Hye Sun.
“The Judge From Hell” surpassed its peak viewership rating of 13.6%, driven by Park Shin Hye’s stunning performance as Kang Bit Na, a demon inhabiting the body of a judge. The series dominated its time period across all channels, and topped lists of the best series on global digital broadcasting platforms. Thanks to its exciting story that revolves around evil people taking revenge in satanic ways, the series gave viewers a deep feeling of psychological cleansing, becoming one of the most successful series in the SBS series package that is shown on Fridays and Saturdays.
Park Shin Hye is currently pregnant with her second child, and has now confirmed that "Judge From Hell" Season 2 is her comeback project after giving birth and recovering.
