Lee Do Hyun and Kim Min Ha are in talks for the Korean version of the Chinese film "Viva La Vida."
On May 22, officials from the agencies representing Lee Do Hyun and Kim Min Ha stated that both stars have been offered roles in the film Viva La Vida and are currently considering proposals positively.
Viva La Vida tells the story of two strangers with terminal illnesses who meet and develop a special partnership. As they become a source of strength for each other during their final days, they gradually discover the meaning of life and true love.
According to reports, the Korean film will see some changes in the story and characters to better suit Korean taste. Although it is classified as a romantic drama, the film is expected to present a rich and complex human story that deals with life, death, and love, making it a project that relies heavily on the touching performances of the actors and the deep emotional atmosphere.
After being discharged from military service in May last year, Lee Do Hyun completed filming the series Grand Galaxy Hotel as his first comeback project.
According to reports, the K-drama will be directed by Park Dan-hee (Tastefully Yours, Weak Hero Class 1).
The film is currently in the casting and production preparation phase with the goal of beginning filming in early fall.
