Actress Jo Bo Ah has been confirmed to join the TVING original series The Obedient Killer.
On October 17, her agency stated, "Jo Bo Ah has joined the production and will participate in filming starting on the 17th," adding, "As [she is] joining such a great project, [she] will do [her] best to show you a good performance."
The Obedient Killer tells the story of a delicate woman whose only plan for life was to become a devoted wife and mother. To survive outside her sheltered world, she takes a job she never planned on having.
the In the series, Jo Bo Ah will play Lee Hwa Ra, who is known by codename Miss Lee. Lee Chung Ah was originally set to play the role but withdrew from the production after a back injury from a car accident made it difficult for her to perform the action scenes. With Lee's withdrawal, Jo will be stepping in as the female lead.
Jo Bo Ah married a non-celebrity in October 2024 and gave birth to a son this February. She will return to the small screen with The Obedient Killer following childbirth.
