The drama When the Stars Gossip has confirmed that its premiere will be on January 4, 2025, with a lineup of the best stars in this world.
tvN's upcoming weekend drama When the Stars Gossip revolves around Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), an accomplished and perfectionistic astronaut who doesn't tolerate even a single mistake, and Gong Ryung (Lee Min Ho), an uninvited guest on a secret mission.
This is the first attempt in Korea to produce a space office drama set on board a space station. The cast includes Lee Min Ho, Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, Han Ji Eun, Kim Joo Hyun, Lee Il, Lee Cho Hee, and Heo Nam Joon.
Lee Min Ho takes on the role of Jung Ryung, an obstetrician-gynecologist who stays on the space station for a few days as a space tourist. Jung Ryung is the son-in-law of MZ Group, the largest conglomerate in Korea, who goes into space on a secret mission that he cannot reveal to anyone.
Gong Hyo Jin plays Commander Eve Kim, who is assigned to her first mission as a commander on the space station. Eve Kim is an ideal woman who strictly adheres to principles and does not tolerate mistakes in a space where all kinds of dangers lurk.
Oh Jung Se transforms into Kang Kang Soo, a scientist conducting research on fruit flies aboard the space station. As the second son of the owner of a global financial empire, Kang Kang Soo lives a carefree life but unexpectedly ventures into space in search of the thrill of a dangerous adventure.
Han Ji Eun plays Choi Joo Eun, who is in love with Jung Ryung. As the sole remaining heiress to the Chairman of MZ Group, Choi Jo Eun is a national icon known for her beauty, intelligence, and abilities. She is a role model for women and the ideal type for men throughout Korea.
Kim Joo-hyun takes on the role of Park Dong-ah, a veteran astronaut from the Ground Control Center of the Seoul Ground Control Center. Meanwhile, Lee Il plays Chief Kang, who manages and leads the Earth Control Center's Ground Control Center that serves as a link between space and Earth.
Lee Cho Hee plays twin sisters Lee Min Ah and Lee Doona, who have completely opposite personalities.
Rising star Heo Nam Joon takes on the role of Lee Seung Joon, a space scientist researching dementia in mice aboard the space station.
