We would like to express our gratitude to the fans who love and support actor Byun Woo Suk.
VARO Entertainment recently decided that we can no longer tolerate malicious slander, insults, and other actions against our actor Byun Woo Suk, and therefore, we have initiated legal action to protect his rights and interests. We would like to update you on the progress made regarding this matter.
Based on our monitoring and fan reports, we have identified malicious criminal acts targeting our affiliate. Accordingly, we have collected sufficient evidence, such as malicious posts and comments containing defamation, slander, insults, sexual harassment and spreading false information.We have filed complaints against the individuals concerned, following a legal review by a law firm.
Spreading slander, insults, slander, and baseless false information in posts and comments is a clear criminal act and is subject to legal accountability. We will not condone such criminal behavior and will respond firmly to ensure appropriate punishment without any settlements or leniency.
VARO Entertainment will continue to monitor and take legal action against malicious criminal acts targeting our actor. We affirm our commitment to do our utmost to protect the rights, interests and reputation of our representative.
