MBC's upcoming drama Wonderful World dropped its first teaser on January 25.
Wonderful World is a mystery drama that revolves around Eun Soo Hyun, who takes justice into her own hands after the tragic loss of her son.
The drama stars Kim Nam Joo (as Eun So Hyun), Cha Eun Woo (as Kwon Seon Yeol), Kim Kang Woo (as Kang Soo Ho), and Im Se Mi (as Han Yu Ri).
Kim Nam Joo plays Eun So Hyun, a psychology professor and successful writer who has undergone a complete transformation in her life after losing her young son.
Cha Eun Woo plays Kwon Seon Yeol, a mysterious young man who chooses a difficult path in life despite growing up in a wealthy family.
The teaser begins with Eun Soo Hyun saying, “It all started with an incident that day.” Various mysterious details, such as a door slamming shut, a car speeding through the dark night, a building on fire, a secluded memorial garden, and a bleak view of the prison, raise curiosity about the characters' circumstances.
Eun Soo Hyun's painful cries are followed by her question, "Don't you think I'm bad?"
Kwon Seon-yeol says, "Do I seem to be living well? Do you know when people suffer the most?" It leaves viewers ambiguous about the dystopia surrounding it.
The teaser sparks curiosity about the shocking event that plunged the characters into darkness and the secrets they will uncover.
