This drama based on the novel Castle in the Time is one of the most anticipated productions that stars multi-talented Chinese actor Zhang Zi Han and Korean romantic comedy queen Park Min Young.
The story revolves around Cho Zin (played by the beautiful Park Min Young), a brilliant paleontology student who wants to reunite with her divorced parents. Worried that her sick father is running out of time, she tries to get closer to her estranged mother, a leading film director in Chinese cinema. In an attempt to do so, Xu Zhen successfully landed a job as a production assistant for the film “Castle in the Time” directed by her mother.
The main character of the drama is Jo Chi Jun. Gu Zhijun (played by the handsome and talented Zhang Zi Han) is a famous actor and a completely narcissistic and stubborn man, but undeniably charming with a gentler side. Xu Zhen gets involved with Gu Zhijun after finding an embarrassing rejection from his ex-girlfriend. Despite Gu Zhijun's multiple attempts to force Xu Zhen out of the company, she becomes his personal assistant and an unexpected love story blossoms between the two.

Although Castle in the Time ended production in 2016, it went through many twists and turns and was delayed for many years. Zhang Zi Han has starred in several successful Chinese dramas since then and is now topping the iTunes music charts with his Mandopop songs, while Park Min Young continues to shine in her various Korean drama roles.
