Jung So Min will reportedly star opposite Jung Hae In in the upcoming romantic comedy drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
On November 30, various media outlets revealed that Jung So Min has been cast as the female lead of Jung Hae In in the upcoming K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
Her agency IEUM HASHTAG Jung So Min shared her side through media outlet XSports News. According to the agency, "The upcoming K-drama 'Mom's Friend's Son' is one of the works that has been offered to Jung So Min. She is currently reviewing offers and nothing has been decided yet."
Mom's Friend's Son is a romantic comedy Korean drama that focuses on a woman trying to readjust her checkered life and dark history.
Earlier, Jung Hae In received an offer to star in an upcoming K-drama and he is reviewing it positively.
The upcoming K-drama will be a collaboration between director Yoo Ji Won (Crash Course in Romance) and writer Shin Ha Eun (The Crowned Clown). This will be their reunion act after three years since Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
Mom's Friend's Son will reportedly air on tvN in 2024.
This year, Jung So Min starred in the hit film Love Reset with Kang Ha Neul, Hwang Se In, Kim Sun Young, Yoon Jeong Ho, and Jo Min Soo.
If Jung So Min confirms her casting for the drama, it will be her return to K-dramas after two years. She last starred in the 2022 fantasy Korean drama Alchemy of Souls.
