Hwang In Yeop and Jung Chae Yeon have both been offered lead roles in the upcoming K-drama A Prefabricated Family (tentative title).
According to multiple reports released on April 19, Hwang In Yeop and Jung Chae Yeon have been cast as leads in the upcoming K-drama A Prefabricated Family.
It will be a prequel family story based on the popular Chinese drama titled Go Ahead. It will reveal the story of three men and a woman who relied on each other during their teenage years. They share the same wounds and scars that they received from their parents. The upcoming Korean drama will be the next work of writer Kim Se Young.
The original series aired from China back in 2020 and became a bridge for its main protagonists to stardom. Not only is this series very popular in China, but it has also attracted fans in Korea.
If Hwang In Yeop decides to join the new K-drama, it will be his first upcoming project of the year.
In 2022, the actor starred in the series The Sound of Magic and the series Why Her?
Hwang In Yeop has constantly developed his acting career by appearing in various genres. He made his acting debut in 2018 and has starred in several Korean dramas such as The Tale of Nokdu, 18 Again, True Beauty, and more.

Just like Hwang In Yeop, this upcoming K-drama will likely be Jung Chae-eun's first drama of 2023. She starred in the 2022 K-drama The Golden Spoon and worked alongside BTOB's Yook Sung-jae, Lee Jung-won, former Momoland member Yeon-woo, Choi Dae-chul, and Han Chae-ah.
Jung Chae Yeon made her acting debut in 2015. She is a member of the group DIA, but currently she is more focused on her acting career. She has appeared in many Korean dramas such as Drinking Solo, Reunited Worlds, Marry Me Now, My First Love, The King's Affection, and more.
There is no official confirmation yet on the streaming channel and release date of the Korean remake.
