K-pop and K-drama fans have been shaken by the tragic news of ASTRO's Moon Bin's death. According to police, Moon Bin was found dead at his home in Seoul's Gangnam district by his manager at around 8:10 pm yesterday. The police stated, “It appears that Moon Bin committed suicide. We are currently discussing the possibility of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.”
As one of the members of the popular K-pop group ASTRO, Moon Bin has a bright future. He was also active in a sub-unit with fellow member San Ha, known as Moonbin&Sanha, and was scheduled to appear in various events such as Dream Concert.
Moon Bin has had numerous guest roles in many K-dramas and variety shows, but he also starred in Soul Plate alongside the other ASTRO members, as well as in Mermaid Prince.
The sudden news of Moon's death shocked his fans and the K-Pop community, leaving many in a state of disbelief and mourning. However, it also raises important questions about the pressures that K-Pop artists face and the importance of mental health support.

We cannot compare the grief of his family who lost their beloved son and brother, but the ASTRO members who have been together for a long time, as well as our fellow artists and employees at Fantagio, are in deep grief and shock.
We would like to express our condolences to those who supported and sent unconditional love to Moon Bin. It hurts even more to bring you this surprising news because we know better than anyone how much he loved and cared for his fans.
We strongly request that you refrain from speculative and malicious reports out of consideration for the bereaved family who are deeply saddened by the sudden news.
