"Alchemy of Souls" has revealed an intriguing new poster for Season 2!
Written by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters, “Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romantic drama set in the fictional country of Daeho, a country that does not exist in history or on maps. The drama tells the story of characters whose destinies are transformed by magic that changes people's souls.
The first part of "Alchemy of Souls" aired from June 18 to August 28, recording the highest nationwide viewership rating of 9.3 percent.
The second part of “Alchemy of Souls” will consist of 10 episodes and will detail what happens three years after Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook) returns from the brink of death. Instead of Jung So Min, who plays Moo Duk in the first part, the heroine of the second season will be Jo Eun Jung as Nak Soo.
Ahead of Part 2, tvN has released a new teaser poster capturing the hands of two people. The poignant image shows two hands gently and carefully clasped together as the sun rises behind them.
The main factor of this poster is the presence of red jade and blue jade in the same frame, where the yin and yang symbolize the love that Jang Wook shared with his soulmate.
The more danger these two people face together, the deeper their feelings for each other become, and the more this jade shines.
