Several media outlets reported on August 13 that idol actor Do Kyung Soo is returning to the small screen with the drama “Real Sword Battle.”
Do Kyung Soo's agency, SM Entertainment, shared their perspective on the reports and revealed that the idol actor is positively considering appearing in the upcoming drama.
“Real Sword Battle” revolves around a righteous prosecutor who seeks justice for the poor and helpless victims. He will do his best to destroy the corrupt organization spreading in the Republic of Korea.
Do Kyung Soo will play Jin Jeong, an honest prosecutor who will do everything for the weak who seek justice.
The broadcast date, broadcast station and other production details for "Real Sword Battle" have not yet been announced.
Do Kyung Soo recently released his solo album "Empathy."
Aside from his activity as a singer, Do Kyung Soo is also filming his upcoming movie “The Moon” with Sol Kyung Joo, Kim Hee Ee, and Jo Han Chul.
The actor is set to star in films like “Secret” and “Along With The Gods 3.”
If Do Kyung Soo accepts the offer to dramatize "Real Sword Battle," it will be his first drama project since being discharged from the military.
