Girls' Generation's Choi Soo Young is heading to Hollywood.
On April 25, it was officially confirmed that Choi Soo Young will star in the upcoming film spin-off of the hit John Wick film, titled "From the Universe of John Wick: Ballerina." She will play the role of Katla Park in the film.
From the world of John Wick: Ballerina will tell the story of what happened between John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. In this upcoming film, starring Ana de Armas, Choi Soo-young will play the role of Katla Park, who becomes Eve's first field assignment - to protect her.
Choi So Young personally posted the teaser poster featuring herself and promoted the upcoming film on her Instagram account.
From the world of John Wick: Ballerina will premiere in theaters on June 6.
Before Choi So Young heads to Hollywood, she will first star in the soon-to-be-aired tvN Korean drama “Second Chance at Love,” starring Gong Myung, Jo Yeon Hee, Kang Hyung Suk, Kim Sung Ryung, and Kim Sang Ho. The series will premiere on May 12.
The actress will also co-star in the upcoming Korean legal romantic drama Liar, Lawyer with Kim Jae-young.
Last year, Choi Soo Young did not participate in any Korean series, and focused on the movie "Dead Man." She collaborated with the film's leads: Jo Jin Woong, Kim Hye Ae, Lee Soo Kyung, Choi Jae Woong, and Kim Won Hye.
Choi Soo Young began her acting career in 2007. She is active as a member of Girls' Generation as well as an actress.
