Actor Lee Jung Won is in talks to join actress Kim Hye Eun in the upcoming film A Place to Kill.
On April 9, media outlet Max Movie revealed that Lee Jung-won had been offered the role to work alongside Kim Hye-eun in the upcoming horror-thriller film A Place to Kill.
There has been no response from Lee Jong Won regarding the casting news. However, Kim Hye Eun's agency confirmed that she has been offered the role, and is currently reviewing it.
Lee Jung Won was last seen on the big screen in 2019. He had a supporting role in the movie Family Affair starring Jang Hye Jin, Tae In Ho, Lee Ga Sub, Kim Jin Young, Lee Hyo Ji, and Lee Sang Hee.
This film will also likely be Lee Jung-won's next project after the K-drama "Breasted Love" (2024). In the series, he worked alongside Kim Se Jung, Shin Do Hyun, Baek Sung Chul, Baek Hyun Joo, and Park Ji A.
The year 2024 was full of success for Lee Jung-won, as he participated in three Korean series, such as “Flower Knight,” “Bad Memory Eraser,” and “Fermented Love.” Many are looking forward to his next project in 2025.

“A Place to Kill” is a story rooted in the actual location of the Salmukce Reservoir, the place where horrific events took place.
The upcoming film is produced by The Lamp, the same company that produced the popular film Samjin Company English Class, and will be distributed by Showbox.
A Place to Kill is scheduled to begin filming in 2025. A release date for the film has not been revealed yet.
