Cha Soo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung are getting married and having a baby!
On June 5, media outlet Hankook Ilbo published an exclusive report that “Second Husband” co-stars Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung are planning to get married and are also expecting a baby! They also revealed that the two started their romance after the weekday K-drama ended.
Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung worked together in a K-drama. The two first met in the 2019 K-drama Miss Lee. Two years later, Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung worked together again in MBC's weekday K-drama Second Husband with Oh Seung Ah, Han Ki Woong, Jung Seung Mo, and Ji Soo Won. Second Husband aired from August 2021 until April 2022 with a total of 150 episodes.
Cha Seo Won made his acting debut in 2013 through the Korean drama The Heirs. He is famous for being a part of the Korean dramas Miss Mamma Mia, 20th Century Boy and Girl, Rich Family's Son, Unintentional Love Story, and more. The actor is currently serving in the army. Joined in November 2022.
On the other hand, Uhm Hyun Kyung made her acting debut in 2006. She has starred in several Korean dramas such as The Innocent Woman, Good Doctor, Let's Eat, Defendant, Single Wife, A Man in a Veil, and more. The actress is set to star in MBC's new weekday K-drama Unconditional Desire.

According to Cha Seo Won's agency Namoo Actors, "Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung met each other through their drama and developed a romantic relationship after the series ended. The two are dating with marriage in mind and have decided to tie the knot after Cha Seo Won will be discharged from the military."
Namoo representatives also confirmed that a new life has come to Cha Seo Won and Uhm Hyun Kyung, confirming the pregnancy reports.
