Ever since the news of Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun co-starring in the drama made headlines, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of See You in My 19th Life.
Expectations continued to rise when it was announced that the premiere was set for June 2023. To add to the excitement, the production team unveiled an animated poster featuring Shin Hye Sun as Pan Ji Eum in the drama.
See You in My 19th Life tells the story of Pan Ji Eum (Shin Hye Sun), a woman who remembers her past life, and her attempt to reunite with her love (Ahn Bo Hwan) from her 18th life.
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, the drama was directed by Lee Na Jung, whose notable works include Love Alarm and Fight for My Way.
The manhwa website has recorded nearly 700 million global views, becoming one of the most talked about websites on Naver ever.
Actress Ha Yoon Kyung has also been cast in the drama See You in My 19th Life as Yoon Cho Won - Pan Ji Eum's sister from her 18th life - and Ahn Dong Joo as Ha Do Yeon - Seo Ha's loyal secretary and long-time friend.
The teaser poster depicts Pan Ji-eum standing in front of a circular exhibition stand, and the caption reads:“My nineteenth life, I will come back to you again“, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere.
Moreover, Pan Ji Eum's glamorous look evokes a sense of nostalgia to her. The animated poster displays the character's previous life, from her early childhood to the age of eighteen, and transports the audience to her enchanting world of reincarnation.
“See You in My 19th Life” will premiere in June, and episodes will be broadcast every Saturday and Sunday.
