DrRama's new "Can We Be Strangers?" She shared a sexy sneak peek
On the fiery chemistry between the two heroes!
“Could we be strangers?” It is a romantic drama about two divorce lawyers who get married after 10 years of dating, only to end up getting divorced. When they reunite as colleagues after their divorce, sparks fly at every turn. Kang Sora will play star divorce lawyer Oh Ha Ra, known as the "Litigation Goddess," while Jo Seung Jo will play her smarmy ex-husband, Jo Eun Bum, who is also a talented lawyer.
The newly released trailer begins with a cutscene symbolizing the feud between the former couple. An angry Oh Ha Ra shouted, "You're telling me to share an office with my ex-husband?!" Then, as her ex-husband dangles from the edge of a cliff begging her to save him, Oh Ha Ra sweetly asks, “Why didn’t you pay me this month’s alimony?”
The former couple can't stop bickering in real life either, prompting the head of their law firm to exclaim in frustration, "Just get back together! Or marry her off to someone else." Inspired by a sudden inspiration, Jo Eun Bum takes his boss's advice literally and ambushes his ex-wife with a surprise blind date and it's safe to say from her reaction that she's not exactly thrilled about it.
However, even as the two lawyers clash at every opportunity, one of his co-workers points out, “Hate can be love too. A more passionate love.” Sure enough, the sexual tension between the pair has finally reached a breaking point in Oh Ha-ra's imagination - and in a desperate attempt to get out of it, she screams, "I must be going crazy!"
The trailer ends with Oh Ha Ra and Jo Eun Bum asking together, "So... can we be strangers?"
“Could we be strangers?” (which premiered on Genie TV on January 8) will begin broadcasting on ENA on January 18 at 9 p.m. In the meantime, check out the trailer below!
