ENA's "Love is for Suckers" tells the story of a "real-life survival love story" between Jo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Joon, who have been best friends for 20 years.
The couple begins to experience romantic feelings for each other after an unexpected meeting as a producer director (PD) and a cast member on a reality dating show.
Lee Da Hee stars as Go Yeo Reum, a 10-year-old variety show producer who only succeeds in creating unsuccessful shows. Choi Seon stars as Park Jae Hoon, a plastic surgeon who is considered unemployed due to his irregular salary. While Jo Yeo Reum is desperate between work and love, Jae Joon has given his blessing to take care of both.
On September 20, “Love is for Suckers” revealed photos of Bin Jo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Joon enjoying late-night drinks and snacks together on a rooftop.
Their conversation heads to the topic of love which naturally leads to a disagreement between the two over their divided opinions. Jo Yeo Reum is angry with Park Jae Hoon, and appears to be lecturing her best friend while angrily waving the half-eaten chicken foot in the air.
While Park Jae Hoon is completely indifferent to Jo Yeo Reum's discomfort, he mocks her by posing like a chicken foot and casually responding with harsh truths.
The producers of “Love is for Suckers” commented, “Since Lee Da Hee and Choi Seon are both masters of lifestyle acting, to the point where we might call them Jo Yeo Reum and Park Jae Hoon, they express their roles perfectly.
