“Three Bold Siblings” is a new romantic drama starring Im Joo Hwan as Lee Sang Joon, an A-list actor who is the eldest son of his family.When he has an unexpected accident while filming, he reunites with Lee Ha Na who plays Kim Tae Joo, his first love from elementary school. She is also the eldest of her siblings and grew up sacrificing everything for her family.
Kim So Eun will also star in the drama as Kim So Rim, the middle child of the Kim family and younger sister of Tae Joo, while Lee Yeo Jin plays their younger brother Kim Geun Woo.
Lee Yeo Jin explained why he chose the character Kim Geun Woo for his next role, “Because I am the only son in my house, I feel a strong sense of responsibility towards my family.
Geun-woo is the only son and youngest of three siblings, so I found it attractive that we have similarities regarding our family environment.”
The actor continued to describe his character by saying, "Although Geun Woo is a character who loves his family very much and feels a strong sense of responsibility towards them, he also thinks about himself and discovers new sides of himself that were not known before." Lee Bo Jin continued, "As he discovers new sides of himself, he faces new fears and conflicts, but he makes an effort to move forward toward a better version of himself."
Finally, Lee Yeo Jin revealed that the experience of playing Kim Geun Woo made him want to change the way he interacts with his family in real life.
The actor explained, "I'm not the type to express [my emotions] in real life, so I don't have a friendly or kind personality like Jeon Woo's character."
“Playing Jeon Woo gave me the opportunity to think again about what it means to be a son, and made me think that I should be more friendly and affectionate towards my family in the future, like with Jeon Woo.”
“Three Bold Siblings” will premiere on September 24 at 8 p.m.
