tvN has officially responded to reports of BTS member V joining the new spin-off of the hit reality show “Youn’s Kitchen.”
Last month, tvN confirmed that director-producer Na Young Suk will create a new show called "Seo Jin's" (working title), a spin-off of his show "Youn's Kitchen," which revolves around opening and running an all-star cast. Small Korean restaurant outside.
With Youn Yeoh Jung busy filming the second season of “Pachinko,” Lee Seo Jin will take over as head of the new restaurant, and he will be joined by “Youn’s Kitchen” cast members Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi, andChoi Woo Shik, co-star of “Youn’s Stay.”
On December 6, StarNews reported that V will also appear on Seo Jin's show and that he recently went to Mexico to secretly film the show with his close friends Park Seo Joon and Choi Woo Shik.
Later that evening, a tvN spokesperson commented, “Regarding the possibility of BTS member V appearing on Seo Jin’s new variety show, we are checking whether this is true with the producers who are currently filming somewhere abroad. Due to the difference in time zones, it takes some time for us to verify the facts, so we ask for your understanding.”
tvN also chose not to reveal the show's exact location at the time of announcing the show's production, with the network stating, "For the sake of safe and smooth filming, we cannot reveal the filming location in advance."
Seo Jin's is currently scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2023.
