Lee Seung Gi

Lee Seung Gi served as student council president in his second year of high school and led the school band. Singer and vocal coach Lee Sun Hee discovered him while he was performing on a small stage in Daehangno. He debuted in 2004 at the age of seventeen, while still at school. “You Are My Girl”, from his first album, helped him attract fans across different age groups with its theme of a younger man’s feelings for an older woman. He is close to Super Junior members, particularly Leeteuk and Eunhyuk. In January 2007, he held his first “Love” concert at Seoul’s Olympic Park. In 2010, he released “Smile Boy” with athlete Kim Yuna to support South Korea at the World Cup. For his birthday on January 13, 2011, Japanese fans dedicated a star to him under the name “Lee Seung Gi with Airen”.
