Go Doo Shim

Go Doo Shim is a veteran South Korean actress whose career spans film, television, theater and radio. Born on May 22, 1951, she made her television debut in “Chief Inspector” in 1972 and became known for portraying devoted mothers. She received six Daesang grand prizes for her performances in “Shackles of Love” (1989), “Dance of the Gayageum” (1990), “My Husband’s Woman” (1992), “Virtue” (2000), “Ode to the Han River” (2004) and “More Beautiful Than a Flower” (2004). Her other credits include “Immortal Classic” (2012), “Marry Him If You Dare” (2013), “One Warm Word” (2013), “The Legendary Witch” (2014), “High Society” (2015) and “The Eccentric Daughter-in-Law” (2015).
