Kim Yeon Koung

Kim Yeon Koung is a professional volleyball player from South Korea, who currently plays for the Turkish team Eczacıbaşı VitrA. Kim signed a three-year contract with Fenerbahce in 2011, after a professional career that included playing for the Incheon Hongkook Live Pink Spiders in South Korea and the GT Marvelous in Japan. She also signed another contract to extend her stay with “Fenerbahce” for an additional two years, including the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons. She won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the 2012 London Olympics, and is considered one of the best and richest female volleyball players in the world. During periods of pause in the sports season, Kim participates in Korean variety programs - such as “Running Man” and “I Live Alone” - where her wit and sense of humor stand out.
