Lee Teuk

Park Jong-soo, known professionally as Leeteuk, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, presenter, actor, and entertainer, and a member of the boy band Super Junior. He graduated from Seongsil High School, and later received bachelor's and master's degrees in Broadcast Music from Cheongwon University. He joined the entertainment industry in 2000 after passing an audition at SM Entertainment in Seoul. Lee Soo Man aimed to form a multi-talented group with members with experience in various fields (such as acting, dancing, presenting, etc.). His idea was based on the model of the Japanese girl group Morning Musume, which debuted in 1997 and adopted a successful system of changing and rotating its members over time; He named his new group “Super Junior 05”. Leeteuk debuted in November 2005 as the band's leader, vocalist, and back-group rap performer, with the single "Twins (Knock Out)," which was part of their first album, "Twins," released one month later. The idea of ​​a rotating lineup was abandoned when member Cho Kyu-hyun joined the group in 2006. However, Super Junior has become one of the most successful K-Pop groups, and its members' ability to excel in different areas of the entertainment industry has changed the methods other companies follow in preparing and training their artists. As part of SM's strategy to not restrict the group's activities while some members focus on their individual career paths, several sub-groups have been formed since their launch; Leeteuk debuted as part of the trot-focused group Super Junior-T in February 2007 with their solo album "Rokkugo!!!". Then, in May 2008, he joined the group Super Junior-H and appeared with them on their solo album “Cooking? Cooking!”. Finally, he joined the group Super Junior-L.S.S. and debuted with them in July 2023 with the song “Close The Shutter.” He joined compulsory military service on October 30, 2012, and ended his service on July 29, 2014. After the end of his service, he became more involved in other fields, such as presenting programs (radio and television), participating in variety programs, and composing music.
