Aimee Morakot Sangtaweep

Aimee Morakot Sangtaweep, whose real name is Amy Morakot Kitisara, is an actress, model and TV presenter, who won the Miss Thailand title in 2004. She represented Thailand at the 53rd Miss Universe pageant, held at the Simexpo Convention Center in Quito, Ecuador, on June 1, 2004, but did not win any places. Sangtawip co-hosted the national costume competition at the Miss Universe 2005 pageant, held in Thailand. Born and raised in England to Thai parents, she holds a BA in Law from Brunel University in England. She also studied at Raffles Design Institute, the first international design institute in Thailand. In 2015, she married her boyfriend, film producer James Jerayuth Sangtawip, after a ten-year relationship. She later changed her surname to her husband's. In 2016, she gave birth to their son, Sainam Sangtawip.
