Choi Yeon-jin is a South Korean singer and dancer, and former member of the band NMIXX. She attended Changdeok Girls' High School, but dropped out and then passed the high school leaving certificate examination. She began her artistic career in February 2022 as the lead singer, rap performer, and dancer of the band, with the release of their first solo album, “Ad Mare.” However, in December 2022, JYP Entertainment announced the termination of its contract and separation from the group for personal reasons. After that, she signed with ATOC (formerly known as United Artist Production or UAP), and released her first solo album, "An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove", in October 2023.
