Jin Seon Kyu

Jin Sun Kyu is a South Korean actor, musician, and theater artist, born in Jinhae, Gyeongsangnam Province, South Korea. It is affiliated with L'July Entertainment (엘줄라이엔터테인먼트). He completed his education at Jinhae Middle School (진해중학교), Jinhae High School (진해고등학교), and obtained a BA in Acting from the Korea National University of Arts (한국예술종합학교). Jin was initially interested in sports such as Taekwondo and Jeet Kune Do, and aspired to become a physical education teacher. However, his focus shifted to acting in his final year of high school, which led him to pursue an acting degree. He began his acting career in 2004 in the theatrical work “Mirror Princess, PyeongChang Story” (거울공주 평강이야기). He then expanded his career to include drama and film, making his television debut in the MBC drama “Road Number One” (로드 넘버원) in 2010. Jin was also a member of the theater group Ganda Performance Delivery Service (공연배달서비스 간다), and served in the Police Agency's Combat Police Troupe during his military service. Jin married actress Park Bo Kyung (박보경) on October 10, 2010. They have a daughter, Jin Seol (진솔), born in 2013, and a son, Jin Jeuk (진격), born on April 20, 2016.
