Oguri Shun

Shun Oguri is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and film director. He is the son of theater director Tetsuya Oguri, and is the youngest of three brothers, including his older brother, Ryo, who is also an actor. He began his acting career with small roles as a secondary actor in productions in which his father and brother worked. He officially began his acting career at the age of thirteen in the TV series "Hachidai Shogun Yoshimune" in 1995. Oguri has an extensive track record in Japanese films, with over 100 films to his name. In 2010, he directed his first film, “Sure One Day,” a drama in which he appeared in a small role. Oguri made his Hollywood debut in the 2021 film "Godzilla vs. Kong." As a voice actor, in 2005, he lent his voice to the character of Alphonse Heydrich in the film "Full Metal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambhala", as well as other characters in other series. Shun Oguri married actress and model Yu Yamada on March 14, 2012. They met while filming the NHK drama Taiga in 2012. They have 4 children, a daughter born in 2014, a second child in 2016, a third child in June 2020 and a fourth child in spring 2022.
