Kim Jin Woo

Kim Jin-woo, better known by his nickname Jeno, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor, and a member of the band WINNER (위너). He graduated from Mokpo Industrial High School and is enrolled in the Entertainment Studies program at International Internet University. He joined YG Entertainment (YG엔터테인먼트) as a trainee in early 2010 after being recommended by Seungri, a former member of Big Bang. He then appeared as a backup dancer for YG's top group. Then in 2013, he joined Team A and participated in the reality show "WIN: Who Is Next" on Mnet, competing with other Team B trainees for the chance to debut as a group. In the end, Team A won and began preparations for their debut, while Team B waited longer, but ended up debuting as iKON. He debuted in August 2014 as the lead singer and creator of WINNER with their debut album "2014 S/S". He made his acting debut in 2016 with a role in the web drama “Magic Cellphone,” and has occasionally appeared in other dramas over the years. He debuted as a solo artist in August 2019 with his solo album "Jinu's Heyday". He joined mandatory military service on April 2, 2020, and was discharged on December 31, 2021.
